Refunds & cancellation

How payments, refunds, and cancellation work for CloudProof by BuriCloud. This summarises the billing terms in our Terms of Service.

Who processes payments

Paddle is our Merchant of Record. All payments, invoices, taxes, and refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who act as the seller of record. Your card statement shows Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply alongside this policy.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid features until then and are not charged again. Cancelling does not delete your account or your past reports.

Plan changes & account credit

Upgrades are prorated and charged immediately. Downgrades to a lower paid plan take effect immediately, with the unused portion of what you already paid applied as account credit toward future invoices (not refunded to your card). Because of this, switching plans never requires a card refund.

Refunds

If you believe you were charged in error, email hello+cloudproof@buri.cloud within 14 days of the charge with your account email and the transaction details. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle back to your original payment method. Refunds are otherwise granted at our reasonable discretion.

Your statutory consumer rights — including any mandatory right of withdrawal under Swiss or EU law — are not affected by this policy.

Free plan & trial

The Free plan includes a one-time 7-day full-feature scan trial and is not charged, so no refund applies to it.
